Just looking- Team work makes the dream work, in a Balkans kind of way…
What it makes me think – …or Russia…or, okay, maybe the double-headed eagle could represent the Holy Roman Empire if you take a closer look at the cross. There’s lots of double-headed eagle heraldry out there, and that only adds to the nice bit of mystery the element brings to this cover. The bold font used for author and title is great. It looks like something I would use. The title coupled with the imagery makes me think that we’re headed for a Dan-Brownish-everything-you-thought-about-X-isn’t-true-and-it-will-change-the-world adventure. Who is James Acton?
Would I buy it? No, but with an asterisk. I would probably want to find out more about James Acton and maybe purchase the first novel in the series and work my way up. You can do that here.
